Survey Project Management Course conducted for Geosight/ OEG Renewables by S4
Suffolk Survey & Subsea Services (S4) recently conducted a 3-day Survey Project Management Course with issued attendance Certificates for Geosight, an OEG Renewables company, marine survey operations senior management team.
Geosight, an OEG Renewables company is a land and marine surveying practice founded in 2016. Geosight’s primary goal is to provide clients with precise and accurate dimension data of both the built and natural environments using modern, cutting-edge equipment & techniques. Geosight is built on its professionalism and at every stage adheres to the professional standards of the geomatics, hydrographic and offshore survey industry.
The course was held at Geosight’s office at Dean Hill Park, Salisbury, Hampshire, providing excellent support, training aids and hospitality.
Subjects covered included – Professionalism, Communications, Continuity of actions, Document control, PM procedures & process (Prince 2 flow), Tendering & Commercials (best practise), Fit for purpose resourcing (vessels, equipment, personnel, software etc.), Client meetings & liaison, Client negotiations, Project legal/ contractual interaction & liaison, Department & management colleague liaison, Project preparations (kick off meetings client & internal, site visit, sub contractors meetings, audits etc.), Project HIR/ Risk and QHSE liaison, Project pre job briefings/ inductions, PM project visibility, Project actions, Project daily interaction & liaison/ reporting and comms protocols (client, sub cons, offshore and office), Project schedule tracking & impacts, Project resource tracking, Project cost control & reporting, Project washups/ lessons learned.
