Port MBES & Positioning Spread Provided Long Term
Innovatum/ S4 are providing a long term S4 client with full inshore/ port MBES & Survey Positioning spread (with technical support) to there client for a key and large West England based port to cover whilst their regular survey vessel is currently out of action.
Mobilised end of May, this is already running 5 months duration and likely to continue into November 2025, or beyond.
An Innovatum owned survey & navigation/ positioning spread was mobilised to the 6.2m survey cheetah cat comprising 2 x DGPS (Hemisphere VS1000 with RTK/ NTRIP differential and South Galaxy Wireless RTK with separate/ redundant NTRIP differential), Ixsea Octans Nano Gyro/ MRU, online survey & navigation suite with 1 x portable 8TB HDD, PPS/ TTL, full but space saving PC/IT & networking suite across a space saving rack mount with full backups, Surveyor & separate Helm screens, 5G comms and a hired in spread comprising Norbit iWBMS multibeam (integrated mini SVS) mounted to the vessels OTS pole and a Valeport SWiFT SVP.
Innovatum/ S4 conducted all systems checks & verifications during the mobilisation and vessel offsets with a mini report for the provided installation. Innovatum/ S4 continue to provide ad hoc survey equipment technical support, as required.
Our client’s client conduct daily port surveys, as required, with their survey staff personnel and boat driver in addition to their own ASV solution.
