Having been kindly invited by Jifmar and Foad Zahedi, had an enjoyable day at the naming ceremony of their DP2 multicat Jif Artemis at Neptune Marine’s shipyard near Aalst, NL. The jumboisation conversion into a 42m “shore to offshore” shallow draft (2.4m) solution can certainly be deemed a success, with her 23POB, 24/7, dual crane, moonpool, large deck space, twin spuds and 40T bollard pull capability offering a unique solution to the offshore sector. She looks good in the flesh as well as on paper.
